“This will be the BEST camping trip EVER!”

Sleepless Knight is a fun little storybook/comic that will have your kids in stitches. It tells the story of an intrepid little knight who sets off from the castle with her pet horse Edward for a camping adventure. After packing Edward up with everything but the kitchen sink, the little knight treks through the forest to find the perfect camping spot – just a few steps away from her front door. As she and Edward settle in and make camp, the knight is determined that this will be the “best camping trip ever” – and so it is, until bedtime arrives.

You see, the knight absolutely cannot sleep without her teddy bear. That shouldn’t be a problem, as she made sure to pack Teddy up before she left home. But after campfire fun and loads of marshmallows, the knight discovers that Teddy has disappeared. Edward is no help, as he lies snoring off the effects of his marshmallow binge. The frustrated sleepless knight accidentally wakes a forest bunny, who decides to help her on her quest to find the missing Teddy. There’s only one problem – the bunny doesn’t know what a teddy bear looks like, and the knight’s description may just lead them to a very different sort of bear. One thing’s for sure, this sleepless knight will not rest until Teddy is found.

The bedtime story that kids and adults can enjoy together is a rare thing, but Sleepless Knight hits the mark with an entertaining story that will have your little ones giggling without giving you a headache. The story has a sweet sense of humor that is fun to read. The comic book layout makes it quite accessible to new readers, as the words are presented a little at a time, with the whimsical illustrations speaking for themselves. The pictures are very colorful, catching the eye and keeping kids engaged, perfectly matching the tone of the story.

Sleepless Knight is one of those rare stories that you and your kids will both enjoy reading. The illustrations are fun and colorful, and the comic book style keeps the story moving along without needing too much text, making it a perfect fit for young readers. The excitable knight, her unflappable pet Edward, and her missing bear make for an enchanting story that will leave you wanting more. This is one knight we can’t wait to see more of.
