Feeling like a riff from Quentin Tarrantino’s Inglorious Basterds, the latest teaser trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order reveals a potentially more interesting alternative to poker.

The Bethesda title is set in an alternate version of the past where the Nazi’s won the war. You play B.J. Blazkowicz, the original protgaonist from the Wolfenstein games who has spent the preceding 14 years in an asylum suffering from amnesia before waking up to a hellish Nazi controlled 1960s.

The tone of the trailer attempts to ramp up the suspense as Blazkowicz attempts to remain undercover in a train car, only to be dragged into a sadistic test to check for “impure” blood.

The ninth game in the Wolfenstein franchise is to be released this May on PC, as well as old and next gen Xbox and Playstation consoles. It will also be coupled with beta key for the next title in the Doom series.

Playing games since I'd developed enough motor functions to hold a joystick. From Commodore 64 all the way through to the latest gen. Favourite games to play are FPS games and anything with a deep and compelling story and a world that draws you in. I also enjoy writing, film making and playing bass in whatever band will have me :)
