Quakecon 2013 Dates Announced

Time to plan your trip to the great big LAN party in the sky….er, Texas.

Quakecon, “North America’s largest BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party, with thousands of gamers connecting their systems to play on a world-class network”, is gearing up for its 18th year, and gamers couldn’t be happier. With tons of exhibitors, the chance to get some hands on time with some upcoming games, and of course, the aforementioned LAN party, it’s just a great time. Even better, due to sponsorships by Bethesda Softworks and id Software, its completely free for your enjoyment. You can even get a deal on rooms if you mention you’re coming for Quakecon ($159 a night, and the Hilton Anatole). Quakecon will be held August 1st through the 4th, and you can head over to the Quakecon website here for more information.
