Splinter Cell Echoes comic details

Splinter Cell Echoes is set to fill in the grey areas between last years Splinter Cell Conviction and next years Splinter Cell Blacklist.

The story is to be  penned by Nathan Edmondson, of Grifter and Iron Man fame, with art from renowned British illustrator Marc Laming.  The story is set to remain focused on the exploits of the games series’ main character Sam Fisher.

Speak with IGN Nathan said:

 “Marc and I have a great deal of fun dropping in signature Sam moments – the precise cuts and blows and shots, the panther-like movement in the shadows, for example”

Little more has been revealed at this time other than the comic will be a filler between Conviction and Blacklist. Splinter Cell Blacklist is due in March 2013.

Splinter Cell Echoes has no firm release date as of yet with it merely being down for a 2013 release.  That said it would be remiss of Ubisoft not to get the comic out either before or at launch.
