Zero is an uplifting, stop motion film about an outcast of society that finds a way to overcome the life he is born into and finds happiness. Zero is born in a world of yarn people where their societal value is shown on their chest. The higher the number, the higher their value. Zero, obviously, is unfortunately born as a 0.
The animation is smooth and top notch. While there isn’t any dialog in the film, it’s narrated which makes it an extremely easy movie to follow. This film is simple in it’s story and message, but that doesn’t make it any less interesting to watch. Even with a couple of dark moments in this short film, Zero is pretty viewer friendly for most any age also. With it’s uplifting message, it’s a pretty good video to watch with your kids.
