So far, 2015 has been a great year for mobile gaming, with loads of fantastic games released for mobile and tablet. Here’s a list of a few of our favourites for you to try out and enjoy for yourself. To begin with, this year saw the release of Lara Croft: Relic Run, a free game with similarities to Temple Run. In the game, Lara runs, jumps and avoids obstacles in a computer generated world of various hindrances for the player to evade. The game certainly is a lot of fun, even without the trademark Tomb Raider name, and whilst in many ways it is very similar to other endless running games, there are a few additions which make it extra special, for Tomb Raider fans especially. After all – the main character is the iconic Lara Croft, who proves herself to be as agile as ever as she runs across walls, shoots at her opponents and even slides fearlessly along the back of a terrifying T-Rex. image Another game worth checking out is Badland, in which you will find a weird and wonderful world, albeit rather dark and creepy. You explore the world whilst being controlled by a type of amorphous blob, which bounces you around, changes in size, splits up into smaller blobs and overall just acts very strangely. Ok, so the game is quite weird but it’s also very interesting and a lot of fun, especially if you like games with charming quirks and surprises. image There’s been a lot of fantastic casino games coming out in 2015. This is owning to more online bingo and casino sites offering their services on mobile devices, as well as more mobile sites dedicated exclusively to bingo popping up. With so many available, it would be impossible for us to choose the best mobile casino site online, so but if you do a quick Google search you should be able to find a range of fantastic sites and online casino games to try. image The award for perhaps the most addictive game of the year probably needs to go to Hearthstone. Produced by the makers of World of Warcraft, you are required to build up decks from cards which you have either bought for yourself or won from other players. The game is very complex and interesting, with lots of well thought out rules leading to some tense gameplay. Overall, if you love strategic games, you will definitely love this fantastic offering. image Radiant Defence is one of the latest offerings from the Tower Defence genre, which, is going down incredibly well on Android. Its poke and play mechanisms make it idea for touchscreen. The game itself is a concept of simplified strategy and in this sense it works very well. The war graphics are shown using a neon colouring which both creates an enchanting future setting, and also looks fantastic on a tablet or phone. image So if you’re looking for a new game to try out this year, why not give some of the ones listed here a go? There’s lots of fun to be found in these excellent games. Enjoy!
