For those Xbox gamers who enjoy getting games but enjoy free ones even more, it’s that time of month again. Yup, that’s right, Xbox Live’s,” Games with Gold” program has new games for September.  A step down from their normal number, this month Xbox live is only offering three new games, while a title from August, Crimson Dragon, will be kept in the marketplace for Xbox One players to pick up for free.

Xbox One’s new game this month is Capybara Games’s Super Time Force. Super Time Force is an over the top side-scrolling shooter that beckons absolute chaos at each turn. The game has received great scores from reviewers all over, and a quick look at some gameplay will show you why.  The game is free, and well worth your time, so make sure to pick it up!

September’s first game for 360, Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine, is produced by Pocketwatch Games, and is a single-player/co-op game that tasks players with putting together a the best possible team they can, in an attempt to ultimately pull off a massive heist. The game has gotten pretty solid reviews all around, and as is the case with most co-op games, the level of enjoyment is only increased with more players jumping into the fray.

The second game for this month being offered for Xbox 360 users is Halo: Reach. This first—person shooter is the prequel to the popular Halo Franchise, and was the last Halo title developed by Bungie. While the game received high marks all around from reviewers, it was received by players with mixed impressions (mostly on the positive side). This being said, don’t forget that every game gets its own share of flak from players, and it’s best to form your own opinions in situations like this. The game is free so don’t hesitate to download it as soon as it’s available.

As always, the new game for Xbox One will be available for the entirety of September whereas the 360 games will be released on the 1st and 15th (Monaco then Reach respectively).
