Hitman: Absolution and Deadlight Hit “Games With Gold” This April

The free games scheme from Microsoft will add two more games to download in April for applicable Xbox Live gold subscribers.

Hitman: Absolution will be available from April 1st (assuming this isn’t some elaborate joke) until the 15th to download for keeps, as long as you’ve got the HDD space going. From the 16th, Deadlight will be downloadable for the rest of the remainder of April.

As you can see from our links, Hitman: Absolution is definitely an interesting and original direction for the franchise to move on. Not universally popular perhaps but this is the medium where people will continue to hoover up year on year updates to big name franchises. If you’ve not dipped your toe into this game, or the previous Hitman titles, then you’d be mad not to snap this up, especially at that price! Deadlight itself did not fare quite so well in our view, with extremely frustrating controls. That said, when the title is going for free, there’s not much stopping you from giving it a whirl while we all wait out the inevitable Summer drought.

These deals are only applicable for the 360 mind, the Xbox One is set to introduce the Games For Gold scheme later on in the year.

Playing games since I'd developed enough motor functions to hold a joystick. From Commodore 64 all the way through to the latest gen. Favourite games to play are FPS games and anything with a deep and compelling story and a world that draws you in. I also enjoy writing, film making and playing bass in whatever band will have me :)
