The Elder Scrolls Online E3 Trailer

I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I started playing MMORPGs.

The Elder Scrolls Online E3 trailer showcases a fair amount, despite not giving much of an impression regarding the gameplay (which is still currently signing up for beta testing). Multiple locations are revealed, some cosily familiar to Oblivion and Skyrim fans, whilst others harken back to earlier games.

The overall atmosphere feels very “Elder Scrolls”, with many fan favourite enemies having been lifted from previous games (including the giants from Skyrim). Whilst very little actual game play was shown, it was interesting to note that this trailer focuses those brief moments on the much requested FPS view (the game was originally set to be 3rd person only, until community feedback prompted a re-think).

The Elder Scrolls Online is scheduled for a Spring 2014 release on PC, next gen consoles and Mac.

Playing games since I'd developed enough motor functions to hold a joystick. From Commodore 64 all the way through to the latest gen. Favourite games to play are FPS games and anything with a deep and compelling story and a world that draws you in. I also enjoy writing, film making and playing bass in whatever band will have me :)
