Battlefield 4 Gameplay Trailer
Explosions, helicopters, guns, Bonnie Tyler! Battlefield 4 shows off 17 minutes of gameplay footage.
You’ve got to hand it to Dice, the recent fad of showing previews of upcoming previews normally results in a load of hype for a mere minute or two of footage. However the much advertised Battlefield 4 reveal gives us a seventeen minute blast through one of the missions set in China.
Dice have previously promised that the environmental destruction, which played very much a backseat in Battlefield 3, would be more present in 4. They seem to be keeping honest to their word with the gameplay shown so far. The helicopter crash itself being a particularly jaw dropping moment.
Otherwise, the run through shows more of the same, which as a fan of the previous single player campaign in Battelfield 3 is no bad thing. Although I’m hopeful that the campaign is a little longer, it’s certainly steeped in some gorgeous effects and immersive in game sequences. And Bonnie Tyler, can’t get enough Bonnie Tyler.
Battlefield 4 is set for a Q4 release this year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
