Wildman Storms Kickstarter

Wildman delivers an action-role-playing experience that only a developer like Gas Powered Games can deliver. Think of it as a spiritual successor to our classic PC game Dungeon Siege, with a twist.”

Kickstarter has gotten a lot of press in recent months, due to its unprecedented success at giving independent companies a shot at greatness they might otherwise never achieve. Hard work is essential, naturally, but often times success comes down to two things: exposure and money. Kickstarter can be an easy way to get both, provided you have a product the masses can get excited about. Gas Powered Games is hoping their new action RPG, Wildman, has what it takes to get noticed.

With just nine days to go on their Kickstarter project, Wildman has already generated an impressive 8,671 backers and nearly half a million dollars. They’re going to need more than double that for their project to succeed, but Wildman looks like a unique enough proposition that it just might work. With rpg elements, battle elements, stealing from opponents, and even shape shifting, Wildman has just about everything. Pledgers can choose many different levels of support, with prizes ranging from special forum access to cool boxed collector’s editions. Check out the most recent update from the developers below, and head over to their project here if you want to make a pledge.
