Scribblenauts Unlimited release delayed in Europe

Nintendo have announced that Scribblenauts Unlimited, due for release this Friday on the Wii U and 3DS, has been delayed, with no mention of how long the delay may be. In a brief press release made by Warner Bros. Interactive, they say:

“We are sorry to announce that Scribblenauts Unlimited, a game developed by Warner Bros. Interactive & 5th Cell and published by Nintendo of Europe for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, will be delayed in Europe. It has come to light that some changes need to be implemented within the game before we launch them across Europe. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to make further announcements on the European launch of these games very soon.”

Quite what the delays may be is unknown; the game was released in North America last November apparently without issues, and holding the game back this close to a release date is unexpected to say the least.

We’ll keep an eye on this, and post any updates as they may occur.
