Medal of Honor: Warfighter Zero Dark Thirty DLC out now
PC gamers can now get the Zero Dark Thirty DLC for Medal of Honor Warfighter through Origin, Electronic Arts announced today. The map pack content is heavily based on Sony Picture’s film Zero Dark Thirty, which is about the hunt for Osama bin Laden and is coming to theaters this week. It will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 as of December 18th.
EA will donate $1 from each map pack sold through March 19, 2014 to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation as part of its Project Honor initiative. According to EA, their Project HONOR Campaign is dedicated to raising awareness and generating charitable contributions for fallen warriors from the Special Operations Community in honor of the sacrifices they and their families have made for their country.
The multiplayer map pack features two new multiplayer maps which replicate real-world locations. The first is Pakistan’s Darra Gun Market, an illegal arms marketplace. The second map replicates Pakistan’s far north Chitral region. It is where Bin Laden was believed to have been residing for some time.
The expansion also adds six new weapon configurations, 14 camouflage skins, and 10 additional multiplayer ranks. For those who picked up the Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition, the DLC can be downloaded for free, while others will have to purchase it separately for $10.
