WiiU And 3DS: Firmware Updates Available

Nintendo has released official updates for both the WiiU and 3DS on the same day. The new update follows the day-one update that enabled use of the Miiverse and other abilities of the WiiU. The first update version was 2.0.0 and the latest update is 2.1.0. The new update “offers improvements to overall system stability, as well as other minor adjustments to improve the Wii U experience.”

The update is 593 MB in size. Depending on your internet connection, the download can be done within an hour or so. Many WiiU owners have reported that the operating system, after the update, seems to run smoother and load times have been decreased. Load times on the WiiU were unusually long at first. There was no loading indicator, which made waiting more annoying. This new update makes adjustments to improve this feature.

Much like the WiiU, the 3DS has also received an update which up grades the firmware to Version 4.5.0-10U. The download is said to take a relatively short time, which again, depends on your internet connection speed. According to Nintendo, “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

Folks, if you want a more stable and smooth OS on your system, you might wanna update your system, with patience, for the smoothest experience available.
