Deck Pack #1 Coming To Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013

Even if you aren’t personally a fan, chances are you know that Magic the Gathering is *all* about the cards – so why should it be any different for a virtual version? Magic players who have been enjoying Duels of the Planeswalkers will be happy to know that Deck Pack #1 will be coming to Steam, XboxLIVE, iPad, and Playstation Network on November 22nd. Priced at $2.99, Deck Pack #1 gives players two new decks, Sky and Scale and Act of War, to enhance both multiplayer and campaign play. You can also purchase the decks and/or their foil conversions individually, but at a price of $2.99 for the set – why would you? According to the press release, these decks sound pretty cool:

• Act of War:  The horns sound. To war! With the red and white “Act of War” deck, your heroes will cut a path to the enemy’s door. If they stumble, cast tide-turning spells to light their way.

• Sky and Scale: Hold your ground and rule the skies with this green and blue deck. “Sky and Scale” starts slow and steady but wins by summoning titanic flying creatures to end your foes’ hopes.
