From Old School to New School: Midway Arcade Origins

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces some old school fun for the holidays.

No doubt about it, newer consoles have a lot over the stuff we used to play as kids. Graphics are better, sound is better, you don’t have to plug quarter after quarter in to continue playing. Even so, there’s just something about playing the old classics that can make your day. Unfortunately, most of us don’t have an old game system or arcade cabinet laying around our living rooms to indulge this whim. Lucky for us, a collection of old school fun will be heading to the Xbox360 and Playstation 3 just in time for the holidays.

Launching with a retail price of $29.99, Midway Arcade Origins will contain over 30 popular games from days of old, and even features a multiplayer option. A full list of games has not yet been released, but Warner Bros. assures us it will contain some of the best, including games like Rampage, Gauntlet, and Defender.
